Addicted to Tech

Are you worried about your tech use?

This series of online workshop is for YOU if you question your attachment to your screens, or you’re downright convinced that you’re uncontrollably obsessed or even addicted to using your phone, computer, gaming system, etc.

If you’re dealing with endless scrolling on your social media accounts, or staying up all night watching YouTube videos, if porn is ruling your world, gaming is capturing all your attention, or anything else you do in front of a screen is having a big impact on the rest of your life, you’re invited to get in on the conversation with a group of folks having similar experiences.

This workshop is a space and an opportunity for being in open, honest conversation on the topic of tech distraction/obsession/addiction. The intention is to see how our honest engagement around our habits, and our secrecy, judgments, shame, and emotions around these habits may begin to free us up from the attachment to our habits and to holding them as shameful secrets. We’ll practice with bringing all of this to the surface, out of our private thoughts and dark rooms, and into conversation, so we may move through and beyond them.

Airing out these sorts of behaviors and the shame that we carry around them can have a cathartic effect that helps us to see ourselves—and our “shameful” habits—in a different light, and to genuinely become more curious and creative about what’s possible on the path ahead.

During our session we’ll do some core Radical Honesty exercises, tailored to this particular topic, as well as exercises from other modalities.

PREREQUISITES

Any Radical Honesty workshop, in-person or online, that covered the basic exercises of the practice (ask me if you’re not sure).

Or a 1-on-1 coaching session during which we go over the basics. (You can sign up for a session along with the workshop below and save $20.)
